Isaiah Wildlife Sanctuary was created in the year 2000 and was incorporated in 2018. The sanctuary is a registered, nonprofit corporation (Corporation #1982178) recognized by the Ontario Government. You can search the Ontario Business Registry (OBR) for us. As such, we are also approved by wildlife vets and the MNR. We do need full time and part time volunteers, sponsors and funding to continually expand and improve all animal care. Our area covers from the Manitoba border, US border to Sudbury and Hudson Bay. No small task! We always need donations for food (including special diets), medical supplies, cages, heating blankets, tin, lumber, fencing, new ponds, lighting, bedding etc. Michael has taken care of and released hundreds of animals and birds over the past 23 years that the sanctuary has been in operation. The sanctuary is a lifetime commitment for him. As we (humans) squeeze wildlife out of their natural habitat, we need to take responsibility for their help. The sanctuary welcomes guests and we’ve hosted folks from 73 countries so far, as well as busloads of youngsters from far and near.
Bus and RV turnaround and parking areas available!
We have covered areas with picnic tables & chairs. Enough to have 100+ attendees within a fenced off area. Although we allow pics and videos to be taken, they can not be used for any personal profit, all material legally belongs to the site and are for your personal use only.
